Third graders at Westorchard participated in a hands-on STEM project focused on Forces and Interactions.

Kindergarten students recently participated in a fun and educational STEM challenge at the Global Learning Center’s Makerspace. Working in pairs, they used plastic cups, popsicle sticks, and index cards to build structures that kept teddy bear counters off the "lava" (the tabletop).
Through planning, building, testing, and revising, the children developed critical thinking and teamwork skills while engaging in creative problem-solving. The hands-on experience sparked excitement, and the students are already looking forward to returning for more learning adventures in the Makerspace.
