3.3    BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby accepts the minutes of the September 9, 2022 Special Board of Education Meeting.

BE IT RESOLVED that, the Board of Education hereby appoints Mary Ellen O’Mara from the Preferred Eligible List to the position of Teaching Assistant, Horace Greeley High School, effective September 9, 2022, with a probationary period ending March 31, 2026.

BE IT RESOLVED that, the Board of Education hereby appoints Jessica Kocher from the Preferred Eligible List to the position of Teaching Assistant, Douglas Grafflin Elementary School, effective September 12, 2022, with a probationary period ending February 13, 2026.

BE IT RESOLVED that, the Board of Education hereby amends the appointment date of Jessica Beattie, Teacher of English/Theater, Horace Greeley High School, from August 31, 2022 to September 23, 2022, that was previously approved at the August 23, 2022 Board of Education meeting.

Resolutions:
BE IT RESOLVED that, the Board of Education hereby authorizes an administrative leave of absence, without pay, for Angela Marshall, effective August 16, 2022, through August 25, 2022. 

BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education hereby appoints the individual below as a substitute clerical/teacher aide to be employed on an “as needed” basis, effective September 7, 2022, at a salary of $15.00 per hour:

BE IT RESOLVED that, the Board of Education hereby creates a 0.5 FTE Purchasing Agent position. This action results in the creation of a 0.5 FTE Purchasing Agent position at the Education Center effective September 15, 2022.

5.    Recommended Action:  Other
Use of the Consent Agenda permits the Board of Education to make more effective use of its time by adopting a single motion to cover those relatively routine matters, which are included. Any member of the Board who wishes to discuss individually a particular piece of business on the Consent Agenda may so indicate and that item will be considered and voted on separately, thus preserving the right of all Board members to be heard on any issue. It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the following Consent agenda as submitted by the Superintendent of Schools.

5.1    CSE summaries (2022-23 School Year) reported to the Board on September 14, 2022.

5.2    BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby approves an addendum to Product Schedule #1829325 master lease agreement #480977 with Lenovo Financial Services, previously approved by the Board on May 19, 2022, amending the ICE Swap Rate and increasing the new lease payment to $31,416.66, and authorizes the Board President to execute the addendum.

5.3    BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby approves an Instructional Services Agreement with The Clear View School, at a rate set by New York State, effective July 7, 2022 through June 23, 2023, and authorizes the Board President to execute the agreement.

5.4    BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby approves a proposal by Transfinder for Reoutefinder Pro to Routefinder Plus Migration, Transfinder Hosting Services, in the amount of $10,450.00, and authorizes the Board President to execute the proposal.

5.5    BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby accepts the donation of an ATEC Power Hummer pitching machine, valued at $1,500.00, made by Richard Birdoff.

5.6    BE IT RESOLVED, the Board hereby approves the Final AS-7 Contracts for 2021-2022 services      provided by Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES and authorizes the Board President to execute the agreement.
