By way of comparison, last week we reported 123 total cases and 44 clusters Saturday (4/30) - Tuesday (5/2).

As a result of this information, we have made the following adjustments:

  • Weather permitting, elementary and middle school lunches will be outside.
  • Weather permitting, all student assemblies will be outside.
  • Greeley concerts, scheduled for this week and next, will be moved to June 15.
  • Weather permitting, windows on our buses and in classrooms will be opened to the greatest extent possible.

I share this information so you can make informed decisions regarding masking, social distancing, and extracurricular activities.

As a reminder, students and staff who test positive for COVID must fill out the attestation form before returning to school.  Individuals who test positive for COVID-19 must be masked while inside on days 6-10, need medical clearance before returning to CCSD athletics, may not participate in instrumental music without a mask, and must maintain six feet of distance while eating lunch inside.  Only students and staff who are COVID positive may access our program remotely.  COVID-19 home tests continue to be available for pick up at any security vestibule, during regular school hours.

Additional information on our COVID procedures can be accessed here.  Thank you for your understanding and support.  Our next notification will be sent this Friday (5/13/22).

Sincerely,

Christine Ackerman, PhD
Superintendent of Schools
