Superintendent’s Update #23

January 1, 2022

Dear Chappaqua Central School District Families and Staff,

Happy New Year. I hope this email finds you well. I am pleased to share that a significant number of students will be testing this Monday morning. We have reached the limit in the number of tests we can conduct during the two-hour window. To accommodate more appointments, we will move to a three-hour delay schedule on 1/3/22 (staff will report at their regularly scheduled time). Families can schedule an appointment for CCSD Students using this Appointment Form.

As a reminder, you must schedule your child’s appointment by 5pm on Sunday, January 2, 2022.

At 6pm on Sunday, those who scheduled an appointment for testing will receive confirmation, additional information about the testing process, your testing location, and a consent form which must be printed and completed prior to testing.

I apologize for the inconvenience of running a 3-hour delay schedule this Monday. I know this is challenging for families, however, we feel that offering testing for students after this extended break is an important opportunity to prevent coronavirus spread in our community.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Sincerely,

Christine Ackerman, PhD
Superintendent of Schools
