Superintendent's Update #13

November 10, 2021

Dear Elementary and Middle School Families Grades K-6,

The Westchester County Department of Health (WCDOH) is working with school districts across the county to host vaccination clinics on school property between 2:30-6:30pm for students ages 5-11.

The Chappaqua Central School District is required to determine parent interest level as the first step in exploring whether or not WCDOH will hold a clinic on our site. Should we have enough parents interested in having their children vaccinated on campus, the WCDOH will likely host two dates so that children may complete the vaccination series.

You may access the survey here.

Please complete this survey by 8am on Friday morning (11/12/21) if you are interested in having your child vaccinated on our campus by the Westchester County Department of Health. I will send a follow-up correspondence early next week regarding this matter after sharing our results with the Westchester County Department of Health.

Sincerely,

Christine Ackerman, PhD
Superintendent of Schools
