President Tipp convened the public meeting at 8:28 pm.

Moved by Alyson Gardner to convene the public meeting at 8:28 pm. Seconded by Jane Kimmel Shepardson. Motion passed 5-0.

President Tipp asked for a motion to adjourn, briefly, into Executive Session at 8:28 pm to discuss Safety and Litigation.

Moved by Warren Messner to adjourn into Executive Session. Seconded by Jeffrey Mester. Motion passed 5-0.

President Tipp re-convened the public meeting at 8:44 pm.

Moved by Warren Messner to re-convene the public meeting at 8:44 pm. Seconded by Alyson Gardner. Motion passed 5-0.

President's Report - President Tipp described the various methods by which the Superintendent and Board engaged the community and garnered feedback on proposals to enhance security measures in the six schools.

Potential Capital Project

Dr. Ackerman outlined the feedback received from the various groups surveyed. The consensus seems to be that most people feel something should be done but that the 1st proposal was too little and the second proposal too much. Her recommendation to the BOE is to go forward with the "person traps" at the elementary and middle schools and to create a team to further review the situation at Greeley. This will also allow the District to have better knowledge of the impact of the development of the Reader's Digest property.
