Grafflin's 2024 Earth Day celebration was a student-centered event filled with engaging activities and initiatives.
Third and fourth grade students were fascinated by the world of Ozobots as they engaged in an interactive coding experience that involved using markers to create their own code.
Grafflin fourth graders participated in a Revolutionary War-themed Boston Tea Party Escape Room experience. Students entered the room in small groups, taking on the roles of members of the Sons of Liberty. Together, they examined revolutionary texts, studied primary sources, answered comprehension questions, and cracked cryptograms and ciphers.
To celebrate National Kindergarten Day, the entire school gathered outside their classrooms with banners and signs to support and applaud our youngest learners—the Kindergartners.
K-6 students participate in read alouds and the Sankofa Drumming & Dance group visits elementary schools for Unity Day.
CCSD welcomed Dr. Daisy Khan as the keynote speaker for our April 10, 2024 Superintendent’s Conference Day.
Chappaqua’s classrooms were filled with exciting and timely learning opportunities related to the recent earthquake and April 8th solar eclipse.
Bell finishes in 9th Place while Seven Bridges takes 1st Place at the 2024 NYS Science Olympiad. 7B will compete at the Science Olympiad National Tournament on May 24-25 at Michigan State University.
