Nintendo pilots STEAM program at Grafflin
Nintendo will use these pilot classes to develop a Nintendo Labo Teacher Guide that will allow other educators to implement Nintendo Labo in the classroom to promote the development of skills such as creative problem solving and collaboration. |

Dr. Heidi Hayes Jacobs
Dr. Jacobs is known for her work in curriculum mapping and integration, and developing 21st-century approaches to teaching and learning. Her remarks focused on powerful curriculum, project-based learning, authentic assessment, modern and flexible learning spaces, and progressive teaching and learning approaches. Dr. Jacobs' work is constructed upon the latest research about the best ways to engage students and promote sustainable learning. |

Class of 2019 lauded for academic achievements
As a result of this hard work during their time at HGHS, many of our students are recognized for their amazing accomplishments! Congratulations to the 129 seniors who were recently inducted into the Cum Laude Society -- with 11 students earning Valedictory honors! We also celebrate the 25 Commended Students and 17 Semifinalists who were recognized this year by the National Merit Scholarship Program. |

Project Adventure is a program designed to provide students with opportunities to work together with their team, acquire and practice essential life skills, and to enhance self-esteem in an atmosphere that was physical, challenging, supportive, and fun. |
