Westchester-Rockland Junior Science & Humanities Symposium

On January 30, 2021, twenty-three HGHS seniors participated virtually in the Westchester-Rockland Junior Science and Humanities Symposium. Due to constraints presented by the pandemic, this year’s competition was only open to senior speaker presentations, with 340 students from Westchester and Rockland counties participating.

Each student presented a 12-minute, uninterrupted PowerPoint to a panel of judges who are scientists or connected with a scientific or medical profession, followed by a Q&A period.
