Good Afternoon Chappaqua Central School District Families,

Please see the aggregate account of our new COVID-19 cases for each building this week. As outlined in Superintendent’s Update #27, due to NYSDOH contact tracing adjustments, the District will notify families by email when an exposure may have occurred on CCSD transportation, during CCSD athletics or while eating lunch at Horace Greeley High School.

February Break COVID Procedures:

If your child tests positive for COVID-19 over the February break on a lab certified test, please email your building principal and me (ChAckerman@chappaquaschools.org) so that we can determine if a school exposure notification is required (ex. your child rode the bus while infectious, they ate lunch in the Greeley cafeteria, they are a CCSD athlete). The District will respond to all other COVID-related matters when we reopen on February 28, 2022.

Thank you for your continued support. Our next update will be sent on Friday, March 4, 2022.

Have a wonderful February break.

Sincerely,

Christine Ackerman, PhD
Superintendent of Schools
