A message from the Athletic Director
Athletic Director's Update #13
March 25, 2022
Dear Families of Modified Sports Athletes,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing with important information in preparation for the start of modified athletics this Monday, March 28th.
Webinar: CCSD held a webinar on Tuesday (3/22) to discuss our modified program. You may review this webinar here.
COVID Testing for Unvaccinated Athletes: Unvaccinated athletes and coaches must test weekly. Please review our procedures on how to submit your results on our CCSD COVID Home Testing Program webpage. Parents can pick up home tests for their child at any building for the entire season (modified sports conclude on or about May 25th).
LOCKER ROOMS/STORAGE: The locker rooms will be open for gear drop off in the morning and pick-up after school. Students will not be able to access the locker room after practice or games.
TRANSPORTATION: The District will provide buses to take athletes to practices and games. For practices, our buses will leave their respective buildings to travel to the practice location at 3 p.m. We are also crafting schedules that balance who will be traveling amongst our teams when necessary.
SUPERVISION/EXTRA HELP: We will have supervision at both buildings after school each day so that students may go to extra help, etc. prior to practices and games on campus.
SPORTSYOU: Your coaches will publish details regarding practices, games and other important updates in SportsYou. To access your child's SportsYou team with the corresponding access code, please click here.
If you have any questions regarding our athletic program, please contact me. We look forward to seeing our student-athletes this Monday!
Thank you.
