New York State’s Education Department requires all school districts to develop and maintain instructional technology plans. These plans must be submitted to NYSED every three years.
The Chappaqua Central School District establishes the following vision and goals in our 2026-2029 plan:
In the Chappaqua Central School District, we use technology to create a positive impact on our learning, school community, and the world beyond the classroom.
Our students and staff use digital tools intentionally and responsibly to support learning, well-being, and connection, preparing students to navigate and shape the digital world with confidence and care.
We recognize that technology and ‘screen time’ are complex topics for families and educators. In our classrooms, students experience a balanced mix of learning opportunities on and off screen. While using technology, we prioritize standards-aligned meaningful engagement to support creation, critical thinking, and active learning aligned to our instructional programs.
