CCSD - Northwell Health Partnership FAQs

We are pleased to announce the launch of our partnership with Northwell Health, which will expand access to youth mental health services for children in our community. This collaboration is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the whole child and supporting the mental health needs of our students and families.

Through this partnership, families now have expedited access to child and adolescent psychiatric services at the Mount Kisco Behavioral Health Center (657 Main Street, Mount Kisco, NY 10549).

Services for CCSD Students Include:

  • Same-day crisis services for students in urgent need of support
  • Timely scheduling of appointments
  • Comprehensive evaluations
  • Short-term care and assistance connecting to long-term care
  • Virtual and in-person short-term programs

As a result of our partnership, services are available to all students regardless of insurance status, and financial assistance is available for families in need. To make an appointment for your child, please call 914-561-3740.

Please understand that the personnel at the Mount Kisco Behavioral Health Center are not school district employees and the services to be performed by them are to be undertaken at the sole discretion of you as a parent/caretaker.

If you have any questions about our partnership, please reach out to Dr. Yasmin Helou-Caré, Assistant Superintendent for Pupil Personnel Services,  and she will assist you. During the school year, each building will have a designated liaison to support families seeking support.

We are excited about the opportunities this partnership provides and are grateful to be working with Northwell to ensure our students have access to the support they need to thrive—both in and out of the classroom.
