Middle East Conflict: District & Building Outreach

Dear Chappaqua Central School District Community,

We know many of our families continue to be impacted by the horrific terrorist attacks on Israel and the events that continue to unfold in the Middle East. It is also devastating to witness the protests across our country promoting antisemitism and Islamophobia.

As I have stated since Israel was attacked on October 7, 2023, we will stand up against hatred, terrorism, prejudice and intolerance.  We will call out antisemitism and Islamophobia whenever and wherever it occurs. It is not acceptable for our students or families to feel unsafe based on their identity or religious beliefs.

As a school district, we need to make sure that our students continue to learn in a safe environment, that our curriculum is factual and balanced, and that our community remains informed as we address concerns brought to our attention (please see below for a list of notifications to our K-12 parents).
