VIOLENT CONDUCT - CCSD SAFETY STEPS 

The below chart contains minimum guidelines. A student may receive additional interventions to assess their safety risk based on the circumstances presented or outcome of risk/threat assessment. 

The New Castle Police Department will be contacted by CCSD when students are not under our supervision and threats of violence are reported to school personnel.

  • Counseling Session recommended with CCSD Personnel

Middle Schools 

  • Immediate Parent Contact & Meeting
  • Risk & Threat Assessment Completed 
  • Consultation with School Resource Officer (Possible Outcomes: Immediate Intervention due to Extreme Safety Risk, Meeting w. Family, No Additional Steps)
