Resignations:
Ms. Kyle Davidson, Teacher of Elementary Education, Robert E. Bell Middle School, effective August 5, 2022.

Ms. Caroline Demuro, Teaching Assistant, Douglas Grafflin Elementary School, effective August 19, 2022.

Amended Request for Extension of Childcare Leave of Absence:
Ms. Tara Miozzi, Teacher of Elementary Education, Westorchard Elementary School, effective August 31, 2022 through January 31, 2023.

Appointments: Probationary
Ms. Jessica Drinkwine, Teacher of Special Education, Westorchard Elementary School, to a probationary appointment in the tenure area of Special Education, effective August 31, 2022 through August 30, 2026, subject to receipt of composite or overall annual professional performance review ratings pursuant to Education law Section 3012-c and/or 3012-d of either effective or highly effective in at least three (3) of the four (4) proceeding years, and if the probationer receives an ineffective composite or overall rating in the final year of the probationary period they shall not be eligible for tenure at that time.

Ms. Jessica Beattie, Teacher of English, Horace Greeley High School, to a probationary appointment in the tenure area of English, effective August 31, 2022 through August 30, 2026, subject to receipt of composite or overall annual professional performance review ratings pursuant to Education law Section 3012-c and/or 3012-d of either effective or highly effective in at least three (3) of the four (4) proceeding years, and if the probationer receives an ineffective composite or overall rating in the final year of the probationary period they shall not be eligible for tenure at that time.

Ms. Jessica Beattie, Teacher of Theater, Horace Greeley High School, to a probationary appointment in the tenure area of Art, effective August 31, 2022 through August 30, 2026, subject to receipt of composite or overall annual professional performance review ratings pursuant to Education law Section 3012-c and/or 3012-d of either effective or highly effective in at least three (3) of the four (4) proceeding years, and if the probationer receives an ineffective composite or overall rating in the final year of the probationary period they shall not be eligible for tenure at that time.

Ms. Jennifer Lazerson, Teacher of Special Education, Robert E. Bell Middle School, to a probationary appointment in the tenure area of Special Education, effective August 31, 2022 through August 30, 2026, subject to receipt of composite or overall annual professional performance review ratings pursuant to Education law Section 3012-c and/or 3012-d of either effective or highly effective in at least three (3) of the four (4) proceeding years, and if the probationer receives an ineffective composite or overall rating in the final year of the probationary period they shall not be eligible for tenure at that time.

Mr. Brandon Inhaber, Teacher of Mathematics, Horace Greeley High School, to a probationary appointment in the tenure area of Mathematics, effective August 31, 2022 through August 30, 2026, subject to receipt of composite or overall annual professional performance review ratings pursuant to Education law Section 3012-c and/or 3012-d of either effective or highly effective in at least three (3) of the four (4) proceeding years, and if the probationer receives an ineffective composite or overall rating in the final year of the probationary period they shall not be eligible for tenure at that time.

Ms. Caitlin Cerone, Teacher of Elementary Education, Westorchard Elementary School, to a probationary appointment in the tenure area of Elementary, effective August 31, 2022 through August 30, 2026, subject to receipt of composite or overall annual professional performance review ratings pursuant to Education law Section 3012-c and/or 3012-d of either effective or highly effective in at least three (3) of the four (4) proceeding years, and if the probationer receives an ineffective composite or overall rating in the final year of the probationary period they shall not be eligible for tenure at that time.

Ms. Mollie McNealy Sciascia, Teacher of Art, Roaring Brook Elementary School, to a probationary appointment in the tenure area of Art, effective August 31, 2022 through August 30, 2026, subject to receipt of composite or overall annual professional performance review ratings pursuant to Education law Section 3012-c and/or 3012-d of either effective or highly effective in at least three (3) of the four (4) proceeding years, and if the probationer receives an ineffective composite or overall rating in the final year of the probationary period they shall not be eligible for tenure at that time.

Dr. Joseph Sullivan, Assistant Principal, Horace Greeley High School, to a probationary appointment in the tenure area of High School Assistant Principal, effective September 24, 2022 through September 23, 2026, as recommended by the Superintendent of Schools.

Ms. Christine Free, Teacher of Music, Westorchard Elementary School, to a probationary appointment in the tenure area of Music, effective August 31, 2022 through August 30, 2026, subject to receipt of composite or overall annual professional performance review ratings pursuant to Education law Section 3012-c and/or 3012-d of either effective or highly effective in at least three (3) of the four (4) proceeding years, and if the probationer receives an ineffective composite or overall rating in the final year of the probationary period they shall not be eligible for tenure at that time.).

Appointments: Regular Substitute
Ms. Romina Sierra, Regular Substitute Teacher of Elementary Education, Douglas Grafflin Elementary School, effective August 31, 2022 through June 30, 2023 (or earlier at the discretion of the Board of Education).

Ms. Rachel Crognale, Regular Substitute Teacher of Art, Westorchard Elementary School, effective August 31, 2022 through January 31, 2023 (or earlier at the discretion of the Board of Education).

Amended Appointment: Regular Substitute
Ms. Jenna Baig, Regular Substitute Teacher of Elementary Education, Westorchard Elementary School, effective August 31, 2022 through January 31, 2023 (or earlier at the discretion of the Board of Education).

3.       BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education acknowledges the following contracts approved by the Superintendent, per Board Policy 6085 – Purchasing and Bidding:

3.1    A Consultant Agreement with Dr. Sandra Sepe dated August 16, 2022.

3.2    A Consultant Agreement with Timothy Doyle dated July 20, 2022.

3.3    An Agreement for Services with Christina Schoonmaker dated August 19, 2022.
