1. Call the Meeting to Order at 9:00 am.
President Tipp asked for a motion to open the meeting.
Motioned by Holly McCall to open the public meeting at 9:01 am. Seconded by Hilary Grasso. Motion carried 5-0.
2. WHEREAS, THE Board of Education, in accordance with Article 5-A of the General Municipal Law, invited sealed bids for Rental of Tents; and
WHEREAS, the bids were opened publicly on April 1st, 2021 and five bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the bid submitted by Royse Green Technologies, the lowest bidder, was not in compliance with the bid specifications in that they submitted pricing for tent flooring and not tents. After review of the original bid specifications issued, this is a bid for rental of tents and there is no mention of flooring nor is there a need of flooring mentioned in the specification.
WHEREAS, the second lowest bidder, Cantele Tent Rental has complied with such bid specifications;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education determines that the failure of Royse Green Technologies to meet the requirements set forth in the bid specifications, as set forth herein, constitutes a material deviation from the bid specification and, therefore rejects such bid; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby awards the bid for Rental of Tents (CCSD Bid #B2021-05) to Cantele Tent Rental, the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for the following amounts and authorizes the Board President to execute the agreement:

3. Proposed Executive Session, subject to Board approval, to discuss contract negotiations.
Motioned by Victoria Bayard Tipp to adjourn into Executive Session at 9:05 am. Seconded by Holly McCall. Motion carried 5-0.
4. Reconvene Special Board Meeting
Motioned by Warren Messner to reconvene the public meeting at 9:28 am. Seconded by Holly McCall. Motion carried 5-0.
