Policy 2060: Policy On Open Discussion of Public Issues
The Board of Education believes that it is the responsibility of the Chappaqua Central School District to support and provide opportunities for open discussions of current political, social, economic, health, scientific and other public issues. It shall be the responsibility of the administration to supervise presentations and discussions of such issues at special events, programs and assemblies and to see that an effort is made to offer a reasonable, respectful, and balanced exchange of ideas at that time or thereafter.
It shall be the responsibility of the administration to make available information about special events, programs and assemblies to district residents.
