1. Call the Meeting to Order at 9:00 am
2. Proposed Executive Session, subject to Board approval, to discuss potential litigation, contracts, matters of health and safety and to receive advice from counsel.
3. Reconvene Special Board meeting.
4. BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education acknowledges Change Orders approved by the Superintendent per Board Resolution adopted at June 14, 2017 Board of Education meeting.
4.1 Change Order: S&L #30
Project: Horace Greeley High School & Chappaqua Library
Contractor: S&L Plumbing and Heating Corp.
Description: Steam Center Sprinkler Add/Lower L Drinking Fountain, Credit on Labor
Amount: $2,191.77
5. BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby approves grade 9-12 student participation in the following “higher-risk” winter sports (ice hockey, competition cheerleading, wrestling and basketball), subject to local health department and Section 1 approval, and adherence to the guidelines and protocols established by state and local health authorities, as well as the rules of Section 1 of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby directs the Superintendent to arrange for COVID-19 testing of student-athletes and coaches as a condition of participation in the above-referenced sports.
