President Gardner convened the public board meeting at 8:10 a.m.

Moved by Victoria Tipp to convene the public board meeting at 8:10 a.m. Seconded by Karen Visser. Motion carried 5-0.

Appointment of Clerk Pro-Tem

Moved by Alyson Gardner to appoint Alyson Gardner District Clerk Pro Tem. Seconded by Victoria Tipp. Motion carried 5-0.

Appointment of superintendent search firm

Resolution:

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board hereby accepts the proposal, dated January 27, 2017, from Hazard, Young, Attea and Associates, as presented to the Board at this meeting, to conduct a superintendent search, subject to approval of a contract for services by legal counsel. A copy of such proposal is incorporated by reference within the minutes of this meeting.
