President Janet Benton called the meeting to order at 8:35 p.m.

Jeffrey Mester moved to approve Cablevision's MSG Varsity Net Contract, which provides a $2,000 grant, two $1,000 scholarships, $1,000 stipend to varsity advisor and online media training for students and personnel, use of camera, technology skills, in exchange for weekly media clips, photos, scores and outreach activities. The action had been tabled from 9-21-10 public meeting. Randy Katchis seconded. The motion passed unanimously.

Search planning process:

Bruce Dennis & Debbie Raizes, consultants with Hazard, Young, & Attea, presented a draft calendar for the Chappaqua superintendent search process. The timeline was designed to conclude the search with the announcement of an appointment in March 2011. The calendar provides for consultant focus groups with stakeholder groups in late October, a presentation to the board of the focus group findings on November 30 at the board's regular public meeting, the board interview of semifinalist candidates in mid-January and board interviews with finalist candidates in late January/early February.

At 9:50 p.m. Jeffrey Mester moved to adjourn to Executive Session to discuss particular personnel issue Gregg Bresner seconded. The motion passed unanimously.

At 10:30 p.m. President Benton moved to adjourn Executive Session and to return to public session for adjournment. Gregg Bresner seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
